Lisa McDennon founded her Laguna Beach-based interiors firm, Lisa McDennon Design, in 2000. Inspired by the region's beauty, history and culture, Lisa's distinctive style reinvigorates Coastal California design. She works with natural materials, elegant forms and varied textures to create modern interiors that are sophisticated, unexpected and timeless. Nuance, Lisa's trend-setting home and lifestyle boutique in Laguna Beach, showcases her modern, sophisticated style with custom furniture, lighting and linens.
Hinkley first began working with Lisa when she was selected to redesign the Hinkley showroom for its grand reopening in January of 2012, creating an award-winning space that consistently reflects the latest interior design trends. Forging what has become an incredible partnership, Lisa continued to collaborate and elevate Hinkley's merchandising, window displays and retail landscapes to create fashion-forward, upscale environments. In 2015, the vision of a lighting collection began to form between CEO Rick Wiedemer and Lisa, with a goal of bringing together Lisa’s innovative approach to design and combining it with Hinkley’s mastery of lighting. The Lisa McDennon Collection officially debuted in 2018, creating some of the most sought-after designs in the Hinkley portfolio.
