WITFORD is Inspired by Pantone’s New Addition of Colors

Pantone LLC has recently announced the addition of 336 new colors PANTONE® PLUS SERIES, bringing the total to 1,677 colors. The PLUS SERIES provides an accurate way for designers to communicate and control color throughout the entire design process – from inspiration to final output. The 336 New Colors offer designers more options and flexibility in the creative process and will become permanent standards in the PLUS SERIES Color Library. Lee Industries at High Point Market Spring 2012

Today marks the last day of High Point Market Spring 2012. With over 2,000 exhibitors and 80,000 attendees each market, High Point Market is the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world. WITFORD was pleased to see Lee Industries showcase some of their furniture at this renowned event.

Located on the bottom left, you will find Blue Slipcovered Chairs by Lee Industries. Apartment Therapy noticed and picked out a few of their favorite trends during High Point. Blue was one of them.

Another trend that was discovered and favored by Apartment Therapy was the use of seams. Lee Industries (left) uses a flange seam to add flair to the sofa.

WITFORD Showroom Announces Exclusive Representation for Eric Brand

Eric Brand has announced that WITFORD will be the exclusive distributor of Eric Brand’s innovative and original residential furnishings, which are widely recognized for their use of exotic materials and distinctive multimedia approach to design and fabrication to bridge the cultures of Asia and the United States. With this alliance, designers have a physical venue and unprecedented access to Eric Brand’s expertise in custom-designed furniture and their unique approach to handling complex material and finishing requirements. WITFORD at the Philharmonic House of Design

Three designers from the Between The Sheets Design Team borrowed furniture from WITFORD and used it to decorate an 11,333 sq. ft. estate. The designers, Joshua Cain, Deirdre Eagles, and Chris Kittrell, used various items from Swaim, Eric Brand, Charlie West, and Palecek, all of which can be found in either the Family Room, Dining Room, or Master Bedroom. WITFORD was happy to attend the Philharmonic House of Design Premeire Night on April 21, 2012 to be one of the first to take a tour of this fabulous estate and even happier to share the photos with you!

Between April 24 – May 20, 2012, the Philharmonic House of Design will be showcasing the 11,ooo sq. ft. estate, located in the coastal hills of Laguna Beach. Interior Designers from Orange County and LA will transform this home into a stunning retreat. Once fully furnished and transformed, the house will be available to rent for corporate and private parties. WITFORD Grand Opening Cocktail Party

Our LA crowd was excited to hear the fabulous Victoria Price speak yesterday. After an encore presentation of “Tell Me, What Do You Have in Your House?”, WITFORD hosted their Grand Opening Cocktail Party at their home at the Pacific Design Center. From delectable hor d’oeuvres and bubbling champagne, our guests were happy mingling around in the new showroom.

Directions to the PDC

Pacific Design Center (open to the trade only, Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm) is located on the northeast corner of San Vicente Boulevard and Melrose Avenue in the heart of West Hollywood, one mile east of Beverly Hills. Valet parking is available.

Due to construction the San Vicente Boulevard parking entrance is closed. All access to the parking garage is now through the Melrose Avenue entrance located between San Vicente Boulevard and Huntley Drive on the North side of the street.
